Trivium is a heavy metal band from Orlando, Florida, was formed in 1999.
Trivium incorporate some heavy metal genres such as Metalcore, Thrash Metal, Progressive Metal, Alternative Metal, Groove Metal, and even Death Metal.
Their style has evolved over the years from their initial album Ember to Inferno began to get to the Shogun, there is clearly influenced thrash of Metallica and some early influences from In Flames.
Trivium has stated that in general they are influenced by music groups like Metallica, In Flames, Machine Head, and Iron Maiden.
