Change Module Class Suffix

In this tutorial we will show you how to make the main side menu looks like on our demo server. If you menu does not look like in the demo, it means that you have installed Joomla sample data and the menus are having custom Module Class Suffix. To enable the menu styling of the template, you have to do some changes in the Module Manager. Let’s follow the tutorial.

Change Main Menu Module Class Suffix

First, you have to login into your Administration panel and using the navigation, go to Extensions -> Module Manager. Select the Menu module you want to use it on your site and open it.
Now you have to click on the Advanced Parameters tab and delete the ‘_menu’ from the Module Class Suffix field. Save your settings.
Now your menu style will look like on our demo server. We recommend removing all suffixes from all used modules while using our templates for a better performance.
